Pictures of the bracelets I made
Here the five bracelets I made. I am suprised by how much fun I had making these.

Just an update
Alright, it has been about 32 days since I made the goal to read the Book of Mormon in 97 days. I finally made it all the way through 1st Nephi. It took me almost a week just to get past 1 Nephi Chapter 1, verse 1. After reading it about 20 times, I finally just started on verse 2. So at this point I am hoping to be at least through Alma by the end of the 97 days.
Also as far as my other goals are going, not so well. I have been to the gym only a handful of times since the beginning of the year. I just find it so hard to go by myself. I am going to try harder, but I make no promises.
Also I designed my first bracelet, I will hopefully get it all put together today!! I actually had fun doing it. Poor Kraig, I have been dragging him to all the bead stores so that I can find what I am looking for. As soon as I finish it I will put a picture of it up.

40 Things Meme
I got this from my cousin-in-laws Stacy's blog. It took me a while to think of everything.
1. My uncle once: had me sit on the top bar of his bike, when we rode to the 7-11 down the street from his house. Just so you know that was not the most comfortable ride, and when I started getting taller then him, it was worse.
2. Never in my life: have I been normal.
3. When I was five: I liked Strawberry Shortcake, I even had one of the dolls that blew "strawberry kisses".
4. High School was: not my favorite time in life, but is sure was a lot simpler
5. I will never forget: the night my dad died
6. I once met: some very awesome people.
7. There’s this girl I know who: can make me laugh no matter what.
8. Once, at a bar: some one probably got drunk, but I haven't been to one to know for sure.
9. By noon, I’m usually: wishing that lunch would get there soon.
10. Last night: I paid bills
11. If only I had: either enough money to fix the tile in my shower, or my dream kitchen...
12. Next time I go to church: someone will probably speak.
13. Terry Schiavo: should not have had so much media attention.
14. What worries me most: I plead the 5th.

26. Darwin, Mozart, Slim Pickens & Geraldine Ferraro: I don't know that I agree with Darwin, Mozart was a genius, a little crazy, but still a genius, Slim Pickens was an actor that played a cowboy (that is all I know about him), and as Stacy pointed out Geraldine Ferraro is a whinner.
27. Take my advice, never:
28. My ideal breakfast is: one I get to sit down and eat with my husband.
29. A song I love, but do not own is: hmm, I am not sure right now....
30. If you visit my hometown, I suggest:
31. Tulips, character flaws, microchips, & track stars: tuplis are pretty, my favorite are "black" tulips, character flaws are necessary, microchips are in just about everything, and track stars are nuts (have you heard what some of them do when they train??).
32. Why won’t people: learn that violence only makes things worse.
33. If you spend the night at my house: beware of my dogs, they aren't use to a lot of people so they tend to get excited.
34. I’d stop my wedding for: ...I would have had to have a wedding to know if I would stop it for anything.

Valentines

Well tomorrow is Valentines, and I left it up to Kraig what we are going to do tomorrow. So I am hoping that we do something fun. Normally we really don't do much but since Valentines is on a Saturday this year I wanted to do something. I am starting to get spring fever, and just really want to go out and do the fun things.
Usually for Valentines I try to find gifts for Kraig that show that I really do love him, and I am not just buying him something. This year, I got him 13" x 19" photo paper. I wanted to print on of his pictures that big, but I decided he was going to have to decide which picture he wanted. So he is just getting the paper. I am hoping that since I got him a whole package of photo paper, that he will want to take more pictures. After talking to him a little tonight, I don't think he is going to want to take pictures like the ones I want.
He decided he wants to stick to landscapes, because he feels that he is bad with people. I want more pictures of us, like the picture of the couple holding hands. I love that picture it is so simple, and yet so awesome. I also love the fact that they are in black and white.

However on a side note, I decided to try my hand at making my own necklaces. I am allergic to most metals, so I figured that I would try and make my own beaded necklaces to see how that goes. I just feel bad for Kraig, because when I get flustered he usually has to help me. So we will see how this goes.

My week

I had a rough week. This week one of the companies I work for laid off about 30 people. This I took very hard, some of the people were my friends. Plus it scared me. Why did they get laid off and I didn't?
I tried to explain to Kraig my fears about it, but he didn't understand, for some reason it went over his head, and he tried to make jokes about it. I know him making jokes it just his way of trying to make things a little better, the only problem is I usually don't feel like joking about stuff like that. So I feel like his making jokes, is only making things worse. Sometimes it almost comes of like he doesn't really want to listen to my issues. I know that is not how he means it, but that is just how it feels to me.
I am really hoping that things get better soon.
I do have to say that I am very grateful to my wonderful friend Caren who after having her own long week decided that we needed to have a girls night out. It was really fun, and nice because I was able to take my mind off things for a while.
