Halloween--Kind of

Alright, this month is Halloween, and since I have no kids, it doesn't excite me. It is not that I hate this holiday, but I feel it is more of a kids holiday, and since I have no kids...well you get the point.
So I have been thinking this month about what else is this month, that because of the Presidental fighting going on it got pushed aside. October is breast cancer awareness month. Everyone is effected by some form of cancer one way or another. I for instance have know four people that have gotten cancer, two passed away. So for Halloween, I am not wearing a costume, but instead a "Think Pink" shirt. There are some really cute clothes out there for Breast Cancer awarness, here are three. (FYI, it is really hard to find these shirts in stores, I found mine at the New Balance store.)

This is similar to the one I bought that I am going to wear.

These two were just really cute that I should have ordered off the internet, but thought about my idea to late to order them off the internet, maybe next year??

There are a ton of different things you can buy, here are a couple of links:

Be Patient...

Alright, I have decided that I am going to make my blog at least a little cuter, I am not so sure of this new look so it may change...
It is better then the old one, but I don't know if it is the way I want it to be yet!! This is where if I could at least be half as creative as either Jillyn or April, I wouldn't be having this issue!!!

Just thinking out loud

I have been doing a lot of thinking lately, and I have decided that I am going to try and change a few things in my life, nothing drastic, just simple. The problem is, I have no motivation. I work so many hours. Kraig just plays his games, or IM's his friends when he is home, and I dont' want to do these things on my own, so they don't get done. I feel like I never accomplish anything with the exception of laundry, and that is only because it is absolutely necessary. This also leaves me feeling discontent, and lazy. I guess I just don't know how to do everything, and it is sometimes hard on me. I am even lacking the motivation to go to the gym as often as I would like to. Am I the only one that feels this way?

We Are Back!!

Well Kraig and I went to Vegas for a week. It was really nice to get a way, however I was more then happy to come home. Vegas is one of those places that I can only handle for so long. We went and saw the fountains at the Bellagio. It was kind of cool, a little loud, but we were also able to walk to it from our hotel which was nice. We also went to the Hoover Dam, and Kraig was having lots of fun with some play on words, for those that have any question on what he could possibly say should watch "National Lampoons Vegas Vacation". We also did a little bit of shopping, including going to the M&M World, where I got bought my birthday present from my mother in-law (before I left, she told me I should get something there that I wouldn't at home, so I did). We also went to the Las Vegas Temple while we were there, it is kind of hard to get a good picture of the entire thing with just my little camera. We also stopped in St. George on the way to and from Vegas, on the way there, we met my mom, and just chatted for a little while. On the way back we met with Jeremy Whiting and had lunch. For those that don't really know who Jeremy is, he is Kraig's best friend, and they have known each other pretty much their entire lives.
Here are some pictures of our adventure.

This is the M&M dispencer, I went with the blue.

Here is a picture of the fountains, we did not take this picture, we left our camera in the hotel, oops!!

This is inside the Hoover Dam.

More of the dam

This is called The Stairway to Heaven, there are over 700 steps to get up

More of the dam

This is a lily on the Temple grounds

Here is a picture we took of the Las Vegas Temple

Here is a view from our hotel room

Same view at night

This is just a picture I took on the way home, it is between Las Vegas and Mesquite

Here is a picture of Kraig, Jeremy, and I at lunch

More of us

I don't know what he just did, but he is hoping nobody finds out

Not looking foward to the snow

It is suppose to snow in the valley tomorrow, and I know that since it is only the middle of October it will probably only dust the grass. However, I am not looking forward to the snow. I really hate driving in it. Everytime is snows I wish I could just lock myself indoors and curl up in a blanket and read. Usually this is not an option. I have to work, therefore I have to drive...
If I could go play in the snow, it wouldn't be so bad.
I love walking through the snow and hearing it crunch under my feet, and I love how when it snows sounds seem quiter. I love how beautiful everything looks once it is covered in snow. I just hate the havoc it causes on the roads, turning the roads to an ice rink, and all the accidents. I hate how I can never seem to get warm once I have and to walk in the snow in my work shoes; which then melts, and gets my feet all wet once I get inside.
However, as I learned a few years ago, it really is better to be cold then hot. You can always put on more layers to get warm. When you are hot, there is only so much you can do though.
I wouldn't mind living somewhere that was a constant 72 degrees everyday though :)!

A few rants

I know it has been a while since I have posted, it has boiled down to three reasons why I haven't, first I haven't really had much to say, second most my ideas lately just seem lame, and third I have felt lazy.

Anyway, right now I am so tired of politics. I feel neither canidate should be president EVER!! I am tired of everyone saying how stupid Sarah Palin is, I am tired of Joe Bidin sticking his foot in his mouth, and I am sick and tired of hearing that both sides are dead wrong. My personal opinnion the President's job is not about politics, I don't give a crap if they are Democrat, or Republican as long as they honestly have the general public in mind. I don't care if they want to try and make some multi-million dollar business happy, what about the rest of the country.
Also this whole bail out business worries me, we as tax payes are the ones spending 700 billion dollars, and it isn't going to solve the problem. Possibly just slow it down is all.

Next if I have to listen to Dr. Laura tell one more female that she isn't doing enough for her husband (who isn't doing anything for her) I am going to scream. This lady has no idea what it means to be human. Plus she was once the other woman, she was once the one who tried to get pregnant before she was married. She tells abuse victims that it is their fault for staying in an abusive marriage, she has no idea the preverted balance of life many of these women have, and if one thing goes wrong their whole world is turned upside down and inside out. The way she often comes off sounding is that men are superior to women, and that women are only there to serve our husbands. I don't believe that. I believe that men and women are created equal, I do not believe that the husband is more important to the wife, and I don't believe the wife is more important then the husband.

Last thing, I really hate it when a week before you are suppose to go on vacation, something happens, and you have to re-schedule. Kraig's work got really busy, and since it is just him and his boss, no body else can cover for him. They got four jobs that all have to be done right now. So now are we not only not on vacation, but Kraig has been working really long hours. He worked last weekend, and he is going to have to work this Saturday too. I hate it when he works so many hours, because I don't get to see him.

Anyway, those are all my personal rantings for today. Sorry, but I had to just put it out there.
