Books

This week my cousin in law Stacy tagged me for a survey on Facebook. It asked for fifteen books you've read that will always stick with you. I have a very deep love of books. If I liked, or learned from a book I remember the plot. I do NOT have a photographic memory. However books I have read I can remember the story line of, even from books I haven't read since I was a kid.
Since I have this deep love of books, I have always wanted a reading niche. In essence a library, but a little more cozy and inviting than what I imagine as a typical home library.
I would love for my reading niche to be a loft, so that there are only three walls, then just completely open. With one or two very comfortable chairs, or possibly a LoveSac, that I could curl up in. I would love for it to have a sky light to let natural light in, plus a lamp or two when needed. It would the colors would be soft, and soothing. The three walls would have built in bookcases, that would just be filled. It would be my sanctuary.

For those interested, here is the list of 15 books that I came up with:

1. Night
2. A Child Called "It"
3. Hubener vs. Hitler
4. Book of Mormon
5. Emma
6. Pride and Prejudice
7. Jane Eyre
8. Wait till Helen Comes
9. Secrets
10. Scarlet Pimpernel
11. The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle
12. House of Thunder
13. Little Women
14. Phantom of the Opera
15. Number the Stars

Kraig also thinks that I should mention that one day while feeling very nostalgic, I bought 62 Nancy Drew Case files books, not the old classics with the yellow cover, but the ones that were published in the 80's and 90's.
